We invite you to join us for our midweek prayer meeting on Wednesday evenings at 4:30pm in the sanctuary. This is a wonderful time to come together in prayer as a body of believers. All are welcome!

Open gym volleyball is taking place on Wednesdays at 8pm in the gym through the spring. Ages high school age and up.

Exeter Bible Fellowship Church has teamed with Helping Harvest to provide monthly food assistance distributions. Distributions occur on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Please visit the Food Pantry Tab for more information.

Sunday Evening Services are paused for the summer and will resume in the fall.

Spring Clean-Up Work Day

We are planning a “Spring Clean-Up Day” on Saturday, April 27th to clean up, dress up, and generally beautify the church property. The to-do list will include jobs such as weeding, mulching, raking and seeding grass where shrubs were removed, and fixing rear shed windows. Work will start at 9:30am, but please come when you can and leave when you must! If you’re able to help, please sign up in the e-bulletin or in the lobby. Please let us know if you are able to bring a shovel and/or a wheelbarrow.

Church-Wide Potluck Fellowship

For our March fellowship event, we will be having a church-wide potluck meal on Sunday, March 17th right after the morning service in the church cafeteria/gymnasium. If your last name ends in A-L please bring a side dish and a dessert. If your last name ends in M-Z, please bring a main dish. The church will provide drinks. When you arrive at church on the 17th, you can drop your food items off in the kitchen/gym. We ask that you sign up beforehand so we know how many tables and chairs to set up. Connections Ladies Fellowship: Are You a Martha or a Mary?

“Are you a Martha or a Mary?” Join us on Saturday, March 16th at 10am for our first Connections event of 2024, where we will discuss two sisters in the Bible that were very different and try to determine which one we are more like. Bingo & BBQ

Join us on Sunday, January 21st at 5pm for our January Fellowship Event. We will have some Smoked Pork and Chicken provided by the church and ask that all in attendance bring a side dish or dessert. We’ll enjoy a meal together and then have some fun playing bingo! The night will be full of prizes as well for all of our bingo winners. For those who aren’t interested in Bingo, we will also have some other board games ready to play.

Come on out for a fun evening of music on Sunday, November 26th at 5pm! Some members of our worship team and more will be performing a wide array of music...and since it's after Thanksgiving, we may even get to do some Christmas music. Night of Thanks Worship & Pie Fellowship

Join us for our annual Night of Thanks service – a special service filled with songs of praise and thanksgiving as we reflect on all that the Lord has done for us over the past year. There will be a time of sharing/testimonies during the service. This Night of Thanks will take place on Sunday, November 19th at 5pm. Chili Cook-Off & Cornhole Tournament

We are having our annual chili cook-off and cornhole tournament on Sunday, October 8th at 5pm. You can register for both events in the e-bulletin or on the sign-up sheet in the lobby. All cornhole teams must be registered by Sunday, October 1st. If you do not want to participate in the chili cook-off or play cornhole, we would still encourage you to sign up and come enjoy a fun time of fellowship! This event will take the place of the Sunday Evening Service.

The Music & Bonfire Night originally scheduled for September 8th has been postponed until Friday, September 29th. We'll have a bonfire complete with S'mores and some live music from some of the EBFC worship team. We'd love to have you and the family join us for a fun and low-key event for our church. We'll start at 6:00pm and fellowship for about an hour. This event is BYOC - Bring Your Own [lawn] Chair!

This program is led by Nate Arndt, Andrew Eichelberger, and David Evans.  We are going through a book by J.C. Ryle that is geared toward men. Reading Phillies Game

Exeter BFC would love to get a group together to attend the Reading Phillies game on Sunday, 8/6 at 5:15pm. The tickets are $31 each and include the food buffet and soft drinks. Wiffle Ball Tournament

We will be closing out summer this year with a night of fellowship and wiffle ball! All are welcome to join us on Sunday, August 27th at 5pm for a night of food, fellowship, and wiffle ball. The church will supply the hot dogs and fixin’s - all you need to bring is a lawn chair and a side dish. Wiffle ball will start promptly at 5pm. All teams will consist of 4 or 5 players. Games will be 3 innings in length. In order to make the brackets, all teams must be registered by Sunday, August 20th. Even if wiffle ball is not your sport, please come out and enjoy the fellowship. Connections: Ladies Fellowship Mini Golf Outing

Join us on Tuesday, August 15th @ 6:30pm at Schell's Mini Golf (4625 5th Sreet Highway, Temple) We will play a round of mini golf and ice cream is available for purchase at the Schell's Dairy Bar after we are finished. Each lady will pay for her mini golf and ice cream. Sign-up is required in the E-bulletin or the lobby.

Float Trip

Float Trip

On August 13th, we will have a float trip down the Schuylkill River. We will meet at 1:45pm at the Exeter Scenic Trail launch ramp (by Gibraltar bridge) and take out at Union Meadows launch ramp behind Monty’s Mulch. It will be about a 3-hour float. Bring your own kayak, canoe, or raft/tube. If you want to join us but don’t have any floating devices, let us know and we will do what we can to help you find some (though there are no guarantees on availability).

Following the float there will be a cookout at the area where we finish, so those who aren't interested in the float portion are welcome to join for the food. Please sign up and let us know if you plan on attending either the float trip, the cookout afterward, or both! The last day to sign up will be August 6th. They will be held on the 2nd Saturday of each month and if there is a 5th Saturday in the month, another distribution will be held on that 5th Saturday. Pre-packaged boxes weighing approximately 25 lbs. and additional perishable items will be distributed to eligible families via a drive-thru system in the church parking lot. Church volunteers will be available to assist with completing the necessary form for each family as well as directing traffic as vehicles drive into the church parking lot.

If you qualify for food assistance, please visit the Food Pantry tab and click the appropriate button to print and fill out the Declaration of Need Form, or printed forms will also be available on the day of distribution.

Connections: Ladies Fellowship Baby Shower

Join us on Saturday, July 15th @ 10:00am at Jordan & Becky Demko's home for our Baby Shower and Brunch to benefit Mercy Ministries and Genesis Women's Clinic. Bring a lawn chair and a "baby shower gift." We will be collecting diapers, wipes, and formula. The items do not need to be wrapped.  Ladies who are not able to attend but would like to be a part of this can bring their purchased items to the church office or be given to Pam at the Welcome Center on a Sunday morning. Parking is limited, so please carpool if possible. In the event of rain, this event will be moved to the church cafeteria. Registration is required in the e-bulletin or in the lobby.
